Short enough to read on a tailgate. The important parts: the trial is free, the price is flat, and your data is yours.

The agreement

By creating a workspace or using this site you agree to these terms on behalf of your company, and you confirm you're allowed to do that. If you don't agree, don't use Yardro. “We” and “Yardro” mean the operator of the service; “you” means the company using it.

What Yardro is

A hosted back office for landscape contractors — estimating, proposals and e-sign, job costing, scheduling, a crew time clock, invoicing, maintenance contracts, and a client portal — running in a private instance at your own address. We host and operate it; you run your business in it.

Free trial

Every plan starts with 14 days free, no card required. At the end, pick a plan to keep going. If you don't, your workspace is paused; your data stays available for export for 30 days and is then deleted as described in the privacy policy.

We may decline or end a trial we believe is being abused.

Subscriptions and billing

  • Plans are flat monthly prices for office seats. Crew time-clock and client-portal seats are free and unlimited on every plan.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly, in advance.
  • Cancel any time — from your workspace or by email. Access continues to the end of the paid month. We don't refund partial months unless the law requires it.
  • If a price changes, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you. Staying subscribed after that date means you accept the new price.
  • Prices exclude any taxes that apply where you are.

Acceptable use

Use Yardro to run your business. Don't use it to:

  • break the law, or store data you have no right to hold;
  • try to reach another company's instance, or probe or overload the service;
  • upload malware, or send spam through the client portal or email features;
  • resell or share access outside your company.

Keep your logins safe. You're responsible for what the people you give seats to do in your workspace.

Your data

You own it. All of it — clients, estimates, jobs, invoices, time entries, contracts, files. We get only the limited license needed to host, back up, display, and process it for you.

Full export, any time, no fee, no support ticket. When you leave, it leaves with you.

We won't sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train anything. You're responsible for the data you enter about your own clients and crew — that you have the right to store it and to use it the way you do.

Our stuff

The software, its design, and the Yardro name belong to us or our licensors. Feedback you give us we may use without owing anything for it — and without attaching your name to it unless you say so.

Availability and support

We aim to keep the service up around the clock, with short maintenance windows announced ahead when we can. We don't promise a specific uptime beyond that.

Support is by email at hello@yardro.com or through the contact page. We reply within one business day, usually the same afternoon.

Disclaimers

Yardro is provided as-is. It helps you price and track work; it doesn't guarantee a job's profit, the accuracy of a weather forecast, or the correctness of numbers you enter. Estimates, contracts, invoices, and payroll figures remain yours to check before you rely on them. Nothing in the service is legal, tax, or accounting advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows: we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data; and our total liability for any claim connected to the service is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, in which case they apply as far as they're permitted.

Ending things

  • You can cancel any time.
  • We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, don't pay, or if we're legally required to — with notice where we reasonably can.
  • If we ever discontinue Yardro, we'll give at least 60 days' notice, and the export tools stay on until the end.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Yardro is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located there, and both of us agree to that venue. Before anyone files anything, we each agree to try to work it out by email first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and for material changes the account owner gets an email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Yardro after that means you accept them.
