This policy covers the Yardro website and the Yardro service — the private workspace each company runs at its own address. It's written to be read, not skimmed past.

The short version

  • Your company's data lives in your own private Yardro instance. We don't sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising.
  • This site sets one analytics cookie, and only if you accept it. Decline and nothing loads.
  • Ask, and we'll export or delete what we hold about you. Email hello@yardro.com.

What we collect

Signup and contact submissions. Name, email, phone, company, and the answers on the form — crew size, services, the software you run on today, the plan you picked, your message. We also record the IP address a submission came from, to rate-limit the forms and spot abuse.

Your company's data on your instance. When your workspace is provisioned, everything you put in it — clients, estimates, jobs, invoices, time entries, contracts, files — lives in that instance's own database with its own encryption key. It is your data. We look at it only to operate the service, to fix a problem you asked us to fix, or when the law requires.

One analytics cookie. With your consent, Google Analytics sets a cookie on this site so we can see which pages help visitors and which don't. IP addresses are anonymized. No advertising features are switched on, no audiences are built, and nothing is shared with ad networks. If you decline, the analytics script never loads and no cookie is set. Your workspace at your own address does not carry this cookie at all.

Server logs. Like every web server, ours keeps short-lived access logs — IP address, browser, page, time — for security and troubleshooting.

Payment details. Subscription billing is arranged by email and invoice. No card details are collected on this site, and we hold no payment-card data.

How we use it

  • To reply to you, prepare and run your workspace, bill your subscription, and send operational email — your workspace link, receipts, service notices.
  • To keep the service safe: rate-limiting, abuse prevention, debugging.
  • To improve this site, using the aggregate analytics described above.
  • We don't sell personal data, we don't buy lists, and we don't send marketing you didn't ask for.

Who else touches it

A small set of providers helps us run Yardro. Each handles only what its job needs:

  • Hetzner — the servers this site and every customer instance run on.
  • Resend — transactional email: your workspace link, contact-form notifications, receipts.
  • Google — analytics, only once you've accepted the cookie.

Integrations you connect from inside your workspace — QuickBooks Online, for example — exchange data at your direction and under that provider's terms.

Beyond that, we disclose data only if the law requires it or to protect the safety of people or the service. There is no other sharing.

How long we keep it

  • Signup and contact submissions — as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of the conversation. Deleted on request.
  • Your instance — for the life of your subscription. When you cancel, the instance stays available for 30 days so you can take a final export; then it is deleted, encryption key included. Ask and we'll delete it sooner.
  • The analytics cookie — Google's cookie lasts up to two years unless you clear it. Withdraw consent any time by clearing this site's cookies; you'll be asked again.
  • Server logs — rotated on a short schedule, typically within a month.

Your choices

  • Export. From inside your workspace, any time, no fee — or email us and we'll send the full export.
  • Delete. Email hello@yardro.com and we'll delete your submissions and, if you're a customer, your instance.
  • Correct. Tell us what's wrong and we'll fix it.
  • Cookies. Decline on the banner, or clear this site's cookies to be asked again.
  • Email. Every operational email comes from a real address you can reply to.

How we protect it

HTTPS everywhere. Each company runs in its own isolated instance with its own secret key — never rows in a database another company shares. Passwords are stored as salted scrypt hashes, never in a form we could read back. Access to the servers is limited to the people who operate the service.

No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach affecting your data, we'll tell you promptly and plainly.

Children

Yardro is a business tool. It isn't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
